I met Livestream CEO Max Haot through Twitter and we had a series of meetings. I introduced him to the Axis camera solution January of last year and Livestream integrated it into their platform so that we were able to start installing cameras and start testing content ideas and production workflows. Since the fall, we have been livestreaming shows from The New Republic magazine’s offices in Washington, Yoshi’s Oakland jazz club, the Commonwealth Club, the World Affairs Council, Booksmith, Books Inc, New America Media, Politics and Prose bookstore, among other places.
